A Visionary Educationist, Chartered Accountant, Institution Builder and Cultural Contributor CA. Sunil G. Karve is a distinguished professional and thought leader whose legacy in education, public service, and institution building spans over four decades.
A Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Company Secretary, and Law Graduate from the University of Mumbai, he embodies a rare blend of financial expertise, legal knowledge, and educational vision.
He is the Hon. Chairman-Governing Board at Kohinoor Education Trust (KET) and is is also the President of the Consumer Guidance Society of India (CGSI) alongside, being theTrustee of Rang Sharda Pratisthan, supporting cultural enrichment and community development.
CA. Sunil G Karve is also the Founder Trustee and Vice Chairman of Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) , Under his leadership, MET achieved a rare global distinction by receiving Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC, recognizing its contribution to education and social development on an international platform
His deep commitment to education is reflected in his tenure as a Senate Member of the University of Mumbai (1995–2005), and Chancellor’s Nominee on the Board of Management at Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik (2005–2010).
A strong advocate of values-based education, he conceptualized and spearheaded Project DAYITVA, a pioneering initiative to embed social responsibility into academic curricula.
Over the years, his efforts have earned him several prestigious awards including the Yashashree Award by the Times Group, the Excellence in Education Award by Lokmat Group, and the Maharashtra Gaurav Award by India News Channel.
KET’s Global Capability College (K-GCC), is a new chapter in the GCC space (Global Capability Building) and has been incepted with the objective of training and developing manpower and offering them assured employment with large organizations, for the growing GCC segment in India.
